1961 Rambler Cross Country Station Wagon. original 6 cylinder 3 speed and original rear end.  Looks to be original sheet metal in the quarters. fenders. doors etc.  The floor under the rear seat and the spare tire area looks also to be original.  Someone put rear floor pans in it and screwed them down. You can see the screws underneath. original roof rack. The underneath is solid but has been patched up. Hard to tell how much as everything is tarred up and undercoated but definitely patched up. I never really poked around much at it. The paint has scabs and places touched up. painted over etc. The roof was painted over and dusted with paint to sort of match the rest of the car. The rear window rolls up and down but has a little tab on the side to lock it in place in the upright position. Pretty much this car is how I got it a year ago. I have put maybe 100 miles on it. The driveline seems to be working ok. The clutch works good. the tranny shifts good and it drives good and sputters sometimes but I expect that.
What I can see was done to is as follows:New rear air shocks. fuel pump. 4 new tires. radiator (aluminum). hoses. nbsp;fan belt. tune up. carb rebuilt. battery and the interior which is done really nice. As you can see in the pictures the dash. seats. oor panels. rug and rear cargo area were all re upholstered. has factory reclining seats for the drivers and passenger sides. The Speedo. temp gauge heater. AM/FM Kraco radio. (8 track also but don't work)dash lights as well as all the lights outside all work. The gas gauge doesn't work (needs sending unit). nbsp;wipers do not work. horn doesn't work. The brake linings are good. some of the lines and the hoses have been replaced. has the original single barrel master cylinder and some of the fuel lines looked replaced. All in all it's a original typical 6 cylinder wagon that I just used locally for cruises etc.  Always gets a lot of attention. I have a lot of pictures top and bottom that I can send but given the size will most likely have to be done in a zipped file.  We bought a new camper last year and this didn't get used much and probably won't this year so I figured I would see what it does.
Please review all the pictures and ask the questions prior to bidding. If you like you can send me your phone number and a time to call and I will reach out for you.
