Welcome to the auction of my MGB Roadster in Damask Red. As you can see from the photos this car is in excellent condition. I have more pictures in higher resolution on

I really don't want to sell but I need the money for other projects as well as a summer holiday!I have carried out loads of work recently and those jobs include:-
Replacing the chrome bumpers. over riders and brackets Replacing the number plates and backing plates Carrying out a full service Replacing oil. filters and some seals in the overdrive and gearbox Replacing the cracked windscreen with a new tinted screen and seals (what a job that was!) The wheels have been refurbished to a very high standard Replacing the centre stowage bin and armrest
The car runs and drives really well with overdrive engaging quickly and smoothly in 3 rd and 4 th gear. It has a stainless steel exhaust fitted which sounds great. The engine has just been serviced with Castrol fluids. Almost all parts came from Moss Europe and are high quality.
You can see from the additional pictures that I have not dressed up the engine bay. It is a 40 year old engine bay which is very sound but could be additionally tidied.
The hood is almost new and the black interior is also in excellent with new foot well panels. door cards and excellent seats. The carpets are also very good through-out.
If I was being picky. I would at some time change the rear leaf springs as they look a little worn. although they work fine. I considered doing them but there are so many options that I thought I'd leave the choice to the new owner. For the sake of cosmetics I might also have done the front suspension but the same applies to it all working fine and there being so many choices. I intend to MOT the car over the Bank Holiday weekend to give it a full year. If there are any issues with those suspension items on the MOT I will sort them prior to sale.

I have a folder of receipts and history including some major panel work. done to a high standard a number of years ago.

In summary this is a lovely MGB Roadster in a stunning colour combination. A great value appreciating asset. I like people to come and have a look and make up their own minds. The car is 40 years old (road tax exempt) and every car is different. I have tried to describe it as accurately as possible but if you're serious please feel free to come and look and listen to it.
