Welcome to the sale of our Sprint/Hill climb Ford Anglia 105 E. This car is owned and run by Pete Farrington. the renowned National MSA Scrutineer from Newtown Mid Wales. Pete has asked me to market his car. please take a good look and enjoy our pictures and action video tour of this very quick retro sprint car.
The Anglia has all the goodies required to make a quick period racer. a screaming 1300cc cross flow engine. built to a very high standard and producing enviable torque and power figures. The transmission having close ratio. straight cut gearbox. through to a tight Salisbury LSD. housed in a strengthened rear axle.
The suspension and brakes again have all the relevant MODS to ensure enviable agility. super driver feed back. also giving the ability to adjust for any drivers needs or requirements. Quick steering rack. adjustable Bilstien damping all-round. adjustable front spring cups. large cross drilled front brakes coupled to a bias braking system. just the ticket for fine adjustment for differing race requirements.
The body work is light and bright. stripped out to optimal light weight. Full roll cage and up-to date seat and belts. this car has all you need and no more.
Ford 1300cc 8v crossflow. lightened balanced shot-peened rods. steel crank. Lotus pistons. fully worked big valve cylinder head. Kent 244 camshaft on roller rockers. vernier timed. twin 45DCOE Webbers feed this compact power pack. BHP figures are 102 bhp at the rear wheels.
Rear wheel drive. 2000E gearbox with a Tran-X straight cut close ratio kit. Lotus Sunbeam rear axle. strengthened with Salisbury LSD.
Front fully adjustable McPherson struts. bespoke anti roll bar. Quick steering rack. adjustable TCA arms.
Rear has Bilstien dampers. de cambered standard rear leaf springs. lowered 1”.
Braking system -
Front are Capri 2. 8 injection cross drilled vented disc's and callipers fitted with Mintex 1144 pads and Aeroquip lines.
Rear are Fiesta disc's and callipers again with Mintex 1144 pads.
The brakes are all operated through a dual master system with a dash mounted adjustable bias.

Documented 102 BHP at the rear wheels.
Total weight - 675kg
This is a well documented and recognised car in the Sprint/Hillclimb scene. the car had a 5 page spread in Retro Ford magazine in 2010. so I am not surprised if you have seen it in a magazine or in action.
This is a truly great little car. beautifully simple yet super effective. non computerised and fully adjustable competitive Retro Ford.
