A real head turner!Raced regularly in the 750 MC Sports Special series and Bernies SR & V 8 s and occasionally the CSCC Modsports. This is a very competitive race car and regular front runner with an interesting provenance. Fitted with a fresh 2.0 Dunnell Zetec producing 225 bhp which was rebuilt earlier this year and has not been raced since.Would make a great track day car. Very few track day cars are faster.

62 class wins. 26 outright race wins, numerous lap records.

It has a mid engine transverse configuration which delivers over 380 bhp/tonne at 580 kg. MTX 75 gear box. Adjustable Gaz coil overs. The Taydec history dates back to 1970 when the first Taydec was built in Lancashire as a Group 6 sports car.

This car was originally built in 2004 with a spaceframe chassis using the original body moulds.

The car comes with a complete spare body, spare gear box, 3 sets of wheels and tyres plus an abundance of spares. This is a great club racer, easy to work on, very fast and a real head turner!

As a race car obsessed schoolboy who used to visit regularly the premises of T. R. Clapham Engineering to gaze at the Taydecs being built and fettled in their workshops in Keighley, West Yorkshire, not Lancashire
