   * COACHWORK - Body is sandwich foam core. hand laid. fiberglass as used in highest quality cars and boats.   Interior panels are glassed in place in the mold to reduce distortion. Thick and strong
    * CHASSIS - Tubular Steel. mig welded. with 4 cross members
    * SUSPENSION - Front = Twin torsion bar with coil over shock absorbers. heavy duty sway bar and Bilstein gas steering shock absorber. Rear = GM 10 bolt with coil springs and gas shocks
    * ENGINE - Chevrolet V8
    * TRANSMISSION - General Motors automatic
    * STEERING - General Motors. with tilt wheel
    * BRAKES - Front = 10" diameter vented discs. Rear = 10" x 2 with finned vents
    * WHEELS & TIRES - Tru-spoke 7" x 15" wire wheels- front reversed. rear and spare standard. Michelin 213 x 15 with Allard Logo on each wheel
    * INSTRUMENTS - VDO Series One. speedometer. tachometer. fuel. AMP meter. oil pressure and water temperature.
    * MISCELLANEOUS - Brookland wind screens. Removeable MG flat windshield with electric wiper (for states requiring full windshield & wipers). flip top gas cap. fitted tonneau with zipper. heater. chrome exhaust side pipes. custom patterned dash. engine compartment firewall and "Allard J2X" custom valve covers.
    * DIMENSIONS - Wheel base = 102". Track = 58". Length = 163". Width = 67". Height = 44". Ground clearance = 6". Curb weight = 1950Lbs.
    * Upon my purchase in 2009 from original owner. car went through Ragtops & Roadsters Restoration Shop in Perkasie PA with all systems checked. braided stainless brake line added. suspension improved. brakes checked. steering box replaced. new battery.   In FL where I moved the car to my winter home. it had electric cooling fan added.   Very reliable and a head turner everywhere.
