I bought this original GTO as a basket case in 1993. it had been off the road since 1979.
Original car was Regimental Red as it is now. original interior was black. but I changed to Parchment color. Over the years I used a secondary job to rebuild the car from frame off with help on body and paint from local professional shops.
The frame first. stripped to bare metal and swapped boxed frame parts from original frame.
Added suspension. brakes. engine. exhaust to make rolling chassis.
Body work was next replace lower firewall. floors. trunk. tail light panel. rockers. picked best doors. NOS front fenders. rear quarters done correctly on arch with 2 pieces.
Then I replaced as much as I could over the years to where it is now. I have tried to maintain stock look during build.
It has only been on the road driven to shows and sometimes to work since late 2014.
Rebuilt engine in 2013
. 30 over with slightly better bump in cam and stainless valves and parts that can run on new gas.
I have pictures of the build over time. Car has always been kept inside insulated garage with heat.
I have extra doors. front frame clip. many original parts. manuals. all receipts. PHS documentation. This is a big. beautiful car that should go to someone that has time to show it and enjoy the looks it receives on the road.
