Car was rebuilt from ground up in 1996. has its original flathead V8. is red in colour with red interior. Has Allard aluminium heads and triple carburettors. car is as near original as possible. with alternator and electric fuel pump to assist with starting. Car has a slight dent in the front offside wing. which is very hard to detect. Car is fitted with both a hood with glass rear screen. and tonneau cover. both are in black canvass. and showing signs of wear. Boxes of spares to go with car. gearbox. cylinder heads. generator. brake parts etc. to many to list. Is MOT and Tax free. Car is known by the Allard Owners Club. This is a car that needs to be seen to be appreciated. if you know these cars you will know how it drives. Car is advertised else where and I reserve the right to remove item if sold. Vehicle is sold as seen. it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure they are happy with the purchase before buying. Buyer to collect. Hi, I took ownership of Allard L-Type reg JGY 708 earlier this week. I'm sorry to make contact but wondered if you could connect me to any of its recent history? The car is in a very similar condition to your pictures, but there is now no history with the car, nor any of the wonderful spares you mention. It is currently in a garage in Cheltenham (Mech Repairs) and whilst they can do their very best thy already have a number of questions that I can't answer in respect of engine build etc, etc. Thanks

Hi, Is the Allard still for sale, if so does it have any clutch judder when setting off in first gear, does it overheat at all and is the ash frame sound?
