This is 1962 Austin Mini 850 Mk1. It is a project. It does not run and drive. It is mostly apart for a rebuild that never happened. There are some parts missing. There is rust. Your passenger can run down the road while sitting in his or her seat. In fact. they would probably fall  . seat and all. thru  the front floor first. It is not there. Kind of like a James Bond type ejection seat to lose an obnoxious passenger.  Though a bit on the messy side. Especially for that soccer mom driving her Minivan right on your butt. But hey. she probably will never tailgate again. The older previous owner was going thru this Mini. He said he drove it to his shop years ago and then started the rebuild. He basically has pulled the entire car apart. Engine out. electric out. interior out. glass out. doors off. and so on. He cut the passenger front floor section out and never got to replace it. Or the rest of the car. He is going thru a divorce and has to sell all his cars. He said the stock original 850 ran well and he had no plans for a rebuild on that. He did the seats over with a grey cloth. The rest of the interior needs to be replaced. There is a nice vintage 4 light driving light bar. The chrome grille and surround are in not bad shape. Same with the bumpers. Glass has all been removed. so new gaskets are going to be needed. The windshield is cracked. He put some funky little wide wheels and new tires on. He did the tail light conversion to the larger later lights. I think most everything is there. Except  the carb . ntake and exhaust manifold. And I imagine other parts . I emptied the tubs of parts out on my loading ramp and took some pictures. If you need better closeup pics. let me know. There are rust issues on the drivers front and passenger left floor pans. I tried to show them. And there are  small rust issues in other places. The drivers front seam by the top door hinge. Tried to show that in a picture. Same down low by lower hinge. Some of the rear suspension housing has rust.  Rear trunk floor and battery box are not bad with no rust thru but surface flaking. Shock towers solid. Top drip rail solid and rustfree all around. Rockers and door posts are nice. solid and rustfree. Doors. ood. ender panels. valances. ear deck lid are also. This is not a bad body at all. Though it is not a great body either. It needs some work. Hot flames will be involved. But these early Mk1's are getting harder to find in any shape these days. This will be a great one to finish off and get back on the road as is. Or  go the VTEC route. This car would be perfect for that. Car has a straight clean Oregon Title. Pick up at my shop here in Prescott Valley is encouraged due to all the extra parts. I get around the country with my truck and trailer and might be able to help get it to you or close. Transport to the docks in Long Beach. alifornia is no problem. Storage till pick up is no trouble. Full payment within 7  days of auction end is required.
