You are bidding on a very rare and collectible 1930 American Austin Bantam Coupe.   I purchased this car from a local police officer that inherited it from his late father.   This car has been in the same family for over 60 years.   It has been kept indoors it's entire life.   It was restored by his father years ago and still looks very nice and original today.   The paint is shinny but does have some nicks and scratches as can be seen from the photos.   The motor has been recently serviced and runs like a champ.   All of the electrical systems operate properly with the exception of the wiper unit (will need to have vacuum line connected). and the door spotlight/miror assembley is not electrically connected.   The tires are like new. the interior uphoulstery is in good condition including the interior paneling.   It has a new rubber floor mat with logos. The headliner is included but not installed at present.   It has a few tears and should be used as a pattern and replaced.   This car starts right up. drives and brakes as originally intended to.   The transmission is non syncro and takes a bit to get used to but does shift thru all 3 forward gears and reverse.

Included in the sale is a wonderful collection of litature including service manual. video. parts catalogs. and original dealers program brochures from the 30's.   There are lots of vintage magazines and special interest articles that were collected by the owner over the years and well preserved.

I have tried to show this car and it's condition with detailed pictures of the under carriage and body/motor/interior.   Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule an inspection and test drive.   Micro cars like this have recently gone way up in value as collectors are starting to appreciate their uniqueness and value.   Good luck biddding!
