About this vehicle This 1979 Austin Mini is a project vehicle with updates to the exterior and interior. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes As of today 12/4/21 the car runs and drives fine but may need a starter soon, a tune up and a long over due maintenance on all nuts and bolts. I honestly have not drove the car or done maintenance in a long time but i take good care of it in the garage. Everything on the car is old besides the shocks and i never got around to replacing it all. There is also surface rust under the car. Vehicle Details
Up for sale is my RHD 1979 Austin Mini that i've owned over 9 years. Bought it from a friend and he had it sitting in his garage for over 5 years.
8 years ago i did a makeover and put an 8 piece bodykit with satin grey and flat black paint. Replaced the cloth seats with vinyl and lowered with Gaz Adjustable Shocks and Hi-Low Kit on 13 x 7 SSR MK 2 wheels.
Engine is a stock 998 cc but not sure how many miles due to the odometer never working when my friend had the car.
Car has just been sitting in my garage for the 9 years and i used to take it out maybe 4 times a year but now i start the car once a month so that it runs.
After the makeover my next step was to drop the front and rear subframe to replace all the original parts but it's time to sell it and the next owner can have fun with a rare Classic Mini. Exterior
