near Avignon# Being a car enthusiast. I spend my spare time looking for cool cars and this great R 12 came across# This car reminds of my childhood in Colombia where I grew up with

as my dad had a good share of

4 and 12. This car was located 2. 5 hours away from where I was staying so I hoped on my friend's van and we went to see the car which once we saw it we immediately liked it. We inspected the car and saw that it had been in a minor front accident but despite that we checked it all out and took it for a test drive which sealed the deal to buy it.
The car was repainted approximately 5 years ago by the previous owner who wanted to make it an R 12 Gordini. The stripes and wheels along with the blue metallic color give this cool R 12 a great sporty look.
The R 12 runs and drives very well in fact. we took it about a month ago on the Anti Football Run along with many other vintage cars# We ended up driving 100+ miles through hills and straight roads with out any problems the car kept up nicely.

The car's condition: Runs and drives very well Transmission shifts smoothly Brakes very well All glass in good condition All lights working good All window regulators working good All doors. hood and trunk close with out issues Seat upholstery good I think that there might be a small tear in one seat Headliner good. no tears (it was painted in France)All gauges work Original carpets are in decent shape. Suspension tight. no clunks or noises. no wandering. tracks straight Tires are nearly new Wheels in great shape Clutch good no slipping. Throw out bearing is a bit noisy (dry)Cibie lights are not hooked up need to be wired. Dash board has a hole the size of a dime Dash board headlight adjusting system does not work (Headlights are OK)
