RENAULT 5 GT TURBO.
1988 (originally 'F' plate). but now has a private plate which cost over £600 and is included within the sale.
11 Months MOT (till 14/6/2014). Registered 13 th Sept 2009. V 5 in hand. No tax at present as it is currently not used due to temporary change in circumstances. The last tax was £135 for 12 months.
We have all paperwork. Receipts. Every MOT certificate and loads of history.
Very good for a nearly 25 year old car. runs well with no major problems. A few scuffs and marks. but can be expected for nearly 25 years old. . OK as is. but would suit a person with a passion for these increasingly rare classic cars and lovingly restore to A 1 show condition.
Would encourage any potential buyer to come and have a look.
NEW ENGINE FITTED at a cost of £2220 including the following Engine specially built to Renault racing spec by INRACING of Nottingham. Also Built as a sprint engine. modified head. Kent RT 200 CAM. New pistons and liners. Comp bearings and new clutch assembly. 5 GT turbo oil hose. Head end gasket. Carb O ring seal. Fuel pipe. Turbo drain hose. H driveshaft. (all documented with official receipts) Has done 700+ miles since fitting.
Genuine reason for sale due to change in circumstances and the inability to devote enough time to restoring to A 1 show stopping condition.
Located 1 mile from J 28 of M 1 in Derbyshire.
