1972 Stunning Fully restored VW Type 2 bay window

The time has come for my son to sell his beloved camper which he has owned for 7 years. he is now a new proud dad and needs to buy a house.

where do we start with this one?

Well it was stripped back to a bare shell about 8 years ago and all the bodywork was proffesionally rebuilt to a superb and very high standard. it was then painted in the brightest yellow posssible so you would not miss it!!. the testement to the work is 8 years later it still looks as good today as when it was done. as new!

The underside is as good as the top.

There is no rust whatso ever on the vehicle.

The front end is an ajustable front beam. with KYB gas shocks all round with IRS rear suspension and all topped of with virtually new EMPI style 5 spoke alloys and new tyres.

The engine is a 1641 cc with an engle 120 cam with a shadeck oil pump and running on a pair of dellorto idf 40's. electronic ing. facet electric fuel pump. all dressed and painted and looks fab.

The engine runs and sounds great with no smoke and has only done about 16 k miles since being built. the gearbox is also excellent as is the clutch.

The exhaust is a 4 tip exhaust system and gives the bus a great sound.

There was a full photographic record of all of the works done put onto CD and a bill file. but my son is struggling to find it so it may or may not come with the vehicle

The interior has been again fully rebuilt. with bespoke cabinets all hand made in solid oak veneer. a rock and roll bed. and a sink/stove set up that is all brand new. you will not find another the same as this its all hand made by a professional cabinet maker.

The interior roof lining has been done in a matching oak veneer finish. and the steering wheel is wood rimmed.

There is also a superb very loud sound system all hidden in the bus with a ripspeed flip out head unit. with 2 big amps.

The bus also comes with the new roof rack that is seen in the pics.

He wants to sell the bus but is not prepared to give it away so please no silly or stupid offers. /

The bus is in SW France BUT he is coming back to the UK and is prepared to bring it back to the new buyer once a deposit of £1. 00 is made. or of course you can come and collect it yourself.
