FANTASTIC CAMPER - NEEDS TO BE SEEN I have a 1968 camper van for sale.
MOT: 12 months Californian import (never been welded - and doesn't need to to welded either!!) The van was originally a red fire bus 20 ltr type 2 engine (bill for the engine - £2061. 35) twin webbers (40 s) bears motor sport gear box walk through van The van was originally a micro bus in the states. as it was used by the fire service and the police but was sold through Kliefton Klock to a Dutchman who removed the back seats and fitted a rock and roll bed and a row of cupboards instead. He also fitted curtains and in the front he fitted Porsche tomb stone seats (very comfortable).
I bought this camper in 2012 on a bit of a whim. upon purchase - I took it to a VW garage and had it serviced and the carb set up. The van also had a general check over too.
My intention was to go to shows and get involved with the vw scene as it was something I fancied doing.
Due to work commitments - I have not had the time to go to any shows and I haven't even managed to camp in it once. I haven't even managed to do 200 miles in it since I have owned it!! It is a waste that I have this amazing camper sat on my drive and hardly gets used!! After much deliberation - I have decided to sell it.
