the BAD the respray was done aprox 20 years ago. if you detail it'll show nice. the drivers side floor was a hole aprox 12'" it was cut out grinded sheet metal welded and covered with fiberglass. the rocker panels (behind front wheels in front of rear wheels. had rust spots aprox 3" square cut out and fiberglassed. I did this last year to carry me over till I could get it into the body shop. and its held up well. car could be driven anywhere. since its my main driver. jersey winters could be tough. always wash salt off and car is garaged every night. also axel boots need to be replaced. I checked. oil level its fine. the dash light for oil pressure is out. not oil pressure light just the dashboard light. is the car sits for over a week it needs a jump. I think something to do with interior clock or radio. but never sits that long. THE GOOD engine complete rebuild less than 5000 miles ago. new pistons shaved head no pollution. so it moves pretty good for the 1. 3. at that time new clutch. also within that time new ricambi front calipers and brakes done. at the same time new radiator. so all new within last 5000 miles. recently within the last month 4 new tires. the car was always maintained because I always drove it. interior simply excellent no cracks. slight wear on drivers seat seam see pic. my plan was to have it in the body shop this winter. I was given a price of 3500. 00 no more than 5 k to cut out all rust. replace with new panels. address all dings etc and respray original fiat yellow. if that's done this would be a super nice x 1/9. if you want you could drive for another year or two and enjoy or have it fixed now. the car runs great. handles fantastic and loves to rev to 7500 rpm. that's how these are supposed to be driven. im 6 ft 245 lbs no problem fitting in the car. I have had and still have many fiats. 850's. 128's. 24's 500's the x is the most fun. I think if someone has some bodywork experience they would have one of the nicest around. I think I described it well. please note car is for sale locally also. so auction could end.
