Rare Fiat 128 “Familiare” wagon 2 door.
Moving sell.
The Familiare was different from all other 128 models with a thicker (22 mm vs 19 mm) front sway bar, an extra rear leaf spring, and a higher (4.416:1) final drive in the 4 speed transmission.
The 128 has a X 1/9 1500 fuel injected engine with a performance cam, ported and polished head, higher (9:1) compression, and electronic coil on plug ignition.Runs and drives good.Many new parts replaced: shocks, brakes, bushings, full double pipe with Ansa exhaust, ect.
New double Downdraft intake with 2 (used) Weber carburetors will be included.
The entire front suspension and subframe has all new bushings and is completely refurbished.
Vintage Cromodora magnesium wheels with new tires,
Rare Cromodora Astra iii side view mirrors and original Fiat front side markers.
New euro bumper from Italy with bumper guards,
Redone interior with Porsche 944 front seats.
Repainted original factory color(Oxidized Red)Very straight body with no rust, perfect rockers, only 3 small rust spots were repaired in the floors with metal, no putty bondo. Good glass, dashboard is not cracked.
This Fiat is 90% finished, still needs some TLC, great Colorado survivor. 90% complete, not perfect but for sure very nice.
