Fiat 124 Spider 2.0 manual (LHD) 1979 5 speed dutch plates

This is a very special little car. It drives so well. the engine is quiet and extremely smooth sounding. with no smoke on start up or under acceleration. it is all very undramatic for a little Fiat. re-assuring in fact. It has been very well looked after in its life. I have changed the oil and filters myself. so the oil is clean and new. I have fitted an extra filter over the end of the air-filter to reduce infiltration of small dust/sand particles in hot countries. There is no scrapes or dings associated with Island living and I do not drive on rough roads at speed so the suspension. steering and bushes are all tight and safe. The car does not use any oil and the coolant is clean and fresh looking. I dont know when the cambelt was last changed but with the naked eye it looks like new. This is my second Fiat Spider and it drives extremely well. The engine pulls Strongly and the gearbox is nice and quiet. The brakes are excellent and servo assisted. Underneath is rust free and original. as is the outside. The seats are excellent. the dash still has the Original stereo. (Fitted with back seats)There is a stunning hand made Ferrari 308 nardi steering wheel. The roof is also like new. There is a new exhaust back box. prop-shaft rubber mount & bearing. The tyres are almost new and proper whitewalls. There are many rare options. including chrome hub caps. back seats. chrome trim on the arches. vintage looking double pinstripe in faded orange and creme. electric fan so "no" overheating in hot countries. luggage rack. nardi steering wheel and high suspension for country roads. Roof down with one hand. very easy and simple to operate. Mechanically and electrically the car is in top condition with every switch and light still working the way they should.
Originally from the states but has spent lots of its life in the Netherlands. not enough to cause any rot in the body or underneath though. I have no service history as it is often misplaced with USA imports however I have the full Dutch registration/ownership certificate. It is still on dutch registration papers. all duties and taxes paid many years ago. I purchased the car from a friend in Ireland. I drove it to Ibiza last month. over 1500 miles and it performed without fault. You can register it here in Ibiza without great cost as it is vintage and already registered in Europe. Alternatively you can use for just six months of the year and store for the rest of the year until the following summer. I am willing to deliver to France/Germany/Spain/Portugal/Italy/Amsterdam or London as long as there is good communication. a substantial deposit or balance in full. I like discovering new places and  I am happy to do it in a little Italian 70's sports car before I fly back to Ibiza. Alternatively you can fly here and collect to enjoy the drive yourself.
