Land Rover 110 Defender Station Wagon Galvanised Chassis 1984 LHD

Welcome to the auction of a 1984 Land Rover 110 County Station wagon.
This vehicle was converted to Left Hand Drive as per customer requirements.

This vehicle was partially restored for one of our customers. The vehicle came to us already fitted with a galvanised chassis. All of the running gear was removed and stripped to its component parts. The chassis was then painted black. The axles were completely stripped and all components have been replaced including bearings. gaskets. seals etc. An R 380 stumpy gearbox was purchased new from Ashcroft Transmissions which is designed to fit directly to a 200 TDi engine. A genuine 200 TDi Defender engine that came in the vehicle was fully stripped and rebuilt. A LHD TD 5 bulkhead was supplied which was stripped. galvanised and painted in Santorini Black. All the bodywork and doors were refitted using all the original components and have not undergone any restoration. New cills and C pillars were installed. The TD 5 bulkhead has an Aircon dash put the engine bay side will still need the aircon components.
The vehicle starts and drives but will need to be trailered away. It has been stood outside in UK conditions for the past two years and has not been moved since. please be aware that surface rust may now be evident on some parts. The V 5 logbook will need to be applied for as the documentation has been forwarded to the current owner in the USA who has now instructed us to sell the vehicle on his behalf.

Due to the very high number of enquiries regarding this vehicle. I may have not answered everyone. so a brief description of common questions.

Yes the legal owner is fully aware of the sale. The V 5 is not present and will need to be applied for. The car has no MOT and Tax. We have no free time until end of April so would not be able to finish this vehicle for you to get an MOT before collection. Collection is strictly before 28 th Feb. The chassis number states that it left the factory as a 2. 5 NA Diesel. Yes there are standard seats fitted front and rear.
