1968 GMC Custom Camper

In mostly original condition. only two owners and runs great. She won't win the beauty contest. but for a 45 year old truck. she definitely turns heads. This is a mans pickup. not kidded out. not jacked with. a hunter gatherer's ride. She has some original dealer paperwork. owners manual. protecto-plate still in the warranty book and the build card from under the drivers seat. You don't have to do anything but drive her.
Here are the highlights from the factory:
396 big block 3 spd 400 turbo-hydro matic trans Air conditioning Power brakes Power steering Ammeter-Oil gauges Bucket seats Side trim moldings Chrome hub caps Super custom truck option Power lock rear end Front sway bar Heavy front/rear springs Tinted glass Towing mirrors Spot lights Chrome grille and bezel Pak-away gas tanks. 3 total Spare tire lock Optional metal bed floor
She was originally sold from Burlingame Motor Co. California. April 18 1968. The build card says it came with a camper too. but that's gone. Even the tool box is vintage and looks to be mounted with factory brackets. not sure though.  The original jack. handle and tire iron are still in it along with the spare tire.
Like I said she is not perfect in any way. the original rear bumper has been replaced. a 80's cheap-o stereo was installed(its useless). and some fog lights up front. There is a small tare in the drivers seat. the passenger sun visor has started separating and the passenger window crank knob came off.  But. the windows work great. doors open and close great. hood opens and closes great. even the coolant is a nice green. not muddy. The bright work is in nice shape. but that original paint is getting thin. she could use a pro-buff job to get out water spots. Also. this is a NO wreck truck.

The only thing it needs is a choke installed! There isn't one and she is a cold starting girl in the morning.
