1933 Essex "RAT-ROD" sedan with suicide doors. Lets start with the frame. Frame is a 1934 CHEVY "Z" 6 inches in the front and 8'' in the rear. Front axle is a 1934 chevy with leaf springs and so-cal front shocks. Rear frame is 2 x 3 square tubing with a posi rear out of a oldsmobile station wagon with "KONI" coil-over shocks and lake-wood ladder bars. Back to the front. We have a 454 cubic inch with about 65. 00 miles on it out of a motor home. Along with the 454 is a 400 chevy turbo that had about 70. 00 miles on it out of a chevy truck. The motor comes with a GM "HEI" distributor and a new 650 "HOLLEY" carb on a "EDELBROCK" performer intake. Other new parts are new starter. new alternator. new water pump. Headers are speedway lake headers with custom made shields and custom baffles. Front tires are "COKER" firestone 6. 40 x 15 and the rear are "COKER CLASSIC" L 78 x 15. Body mods area 6'' chop of the roof line with a roof panel installed off a dodge caravan. The windshield is 8'' of real safety glass and does open for fresh air. There is a manual wiper arm under the visor to meet state inspection code in PA. The windows in the doors is also safety glass and they do work. The seats are home made "BOMBER" seats that recline and also have a lumbar dial that does work. Shifter is made out of a spray gun as you can see and the e-brake handle is out of a "GMC" truck. All gauges work as they should and the fuel gauge is right on the money and nice to have. The fuel tank is new and does have a fuel gauge sender as stated. There is also dual mounted fans mounted under the dash for that extra cooling in the summer. This car will bring A-LOT of attention where ever you go. It has won trophies at every show that I entered it in. Make no mistake this is a "KOOL" RAT-ROD.
