1965 Custom built German VW Split Window Bus with a Mid Engine 350 V 8 and 3 Speed Automatic Transmission.Professionally appraised by a 30 year veteran classic vehicle appraiser on October 2 nd 2020. It appraised for $67,500.00.This bus is an Original & Custom build with approximately 30 k miles since restored.It has the best of both worlds. If you want something unique & one of a kind this is it.It has all of the Original Classic details of a 65 Splitty but with just enough customizing and modern updates needed to make it stand out and be able to drive on the roads and highways today. My bus attracts attention everywhere we go in it.This bus is not a trailer queen but a bus that you can show, go on cruises, drive everyday if you elect to and also a bus that you could drive across country on any given day. It is very reliable.
Two Tone Deluxe highly desirable paint in bright red over black with custom matte black side racing stripes.Since it is a driver, i would rate the paint at a 7 out of 10. It looks great and does well at car shows & cruises but does have some imperfections, a few small dents, small rock chips and a few minor spots of surface rust.Deluxe Chrome Trim Package OptionSplit Front Windshield.Rare Jalousie louvered side window package. (with the exception of one but i have a jalousie window to replace it plus a spare one in case one gets broke)Sliding driver & passenger door windows with wing vents.Red, White and Black vinyl/cloth interior including head liner.Red/Black classic checkered custom carpet coverings.Matching door panels with custom door openers.High back bucket seats. My bus has been professionally modified to accommodate a hidden mid engine V-8.It is a rebuilt 1972 Oldsmobile 350 known for their dependability. 3 Speed Automatic turbo 350 transmission.

Four barrel carburator with chrome air breather.This bus is a Cruiser not an all out hot rod but you will have no issues getting up to speed on the highway and cruising at highway speeds.Dual Aluminum RadiatorsCustom air scoop underneathDual side custom air scoopsThree electric fans set up to come on at separate temperature intervals.

It has a custom built a/c & heat set up on the inside with vents/fans in the front and rear. It still needs the engine bay items ie compressor, dryer etc.I am sure that i am forgetting a few things and there are a few quirks that i haven't got around to fixing but all in all this bus is ready to roll, have fun with and be enjoyed.
