1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Here is my prized baby. a 1974 Volkswagen Beetle. I've poured more than $40. 00 getting it to where it's at right now.
Unfortunately the money has run out. and I am seeking it a new home.
This is an excellent project car. but it still has a few things that need to be addressed.  Here is a list of things that still need to get done:
1. The transmission and shift linkage need to be checked. possibly the transmission needs a rebuild. It pops out of first gear when taking off. doesn't do it all the time; but enough to be annoying and require service. It could be the transmission mount. or it could be the first gear synchro. I believe it's the synchro. since it's the original transmission.
2. The door cards are not installed. but will be included (along with the handles. etc)
3. The wiper motor needs to be installed and wired; at the moment the existing wiper motor is not operational and needs to be replaced. This particular part is hard to source. otherwise I would have done it.
4. The motor consumes oil. this is a trait of these engines naturally; but i suspect the engine will need a rebuild. According to the previous owner (I saw the pictures) the engine was re-rung and should be good for some time; but no guarantees will be made. It is the original engine after all.
5. Needs new horns. it currently has three; but two have stopped working. an oogah horn. and an air siren.
6. The fuel level indicator is a bit off. good enough to read; but not exactly on the money.
This is a list of things that are good with it:
1. The seats have all been reupholstered
2. New carpeting everywhere
3. New headliner
4. The whole interior and roof have been insulated with Dynaliner. and Dynamat
5. Disc brakes all around
6. New suspension everywhere. new front axle. torsion leaves. ball joints. drop spindles. pretty much everything in the suspension is new
7. New electrical (mind you this is a custom electrical job. and you may or may not like it; but this car is currently functional and drivable)
8. New stereo system. speakers. and subwoofer
9. New window and door seals
10. New locks
11. Single piece windows
12. There will be included an AC Kit (which is NOT installed) it will be included with the car. at no extra cost; it will be your task to install it. if you so choose to do so.
13. Wood steering wheel. the horn button is not hooked up. but will be included with the car.
14. Electric fuel pump

DO NOT BUY THIS CAR IF YOU ARE NOT HANDY. OR ARE NOT WILLING TO HAVE A MECHANIC WORK ON IT; ALTHOUGH IT DRIVES WELL. IT IS A PROJECT CAR AND STILL NEEDS SOME LOVE. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE TRANSMISSION MAY NEED A REBUILD. AND THAT THIS TYPE OF CAR IS NOT EXACTLY MAINTENANCE FREE. AND WILL REQUIRE ATTENTION IN SEVERAL AREAS. NO WARRANTY IS IMPLIED OR GIVEN. THIS IS A CLASSIC CAR IN GREAT CONDITION THAT STILL NEEDS WORK TO GET IT TO BE 100%.
