Here we have a very interesting vehicle. It was built as a joint venture by a Bentley mechanic and a Vauxhall mechanic who were good friends in the late 1950's. They were tired of the cars on the road at the time and wanted something a bit different. They wanted to design a car that was sporty. fast and unique. so they decided to design and build their own car.

This is a 2 doorDrop head Coupe with red leather interior. It utilizes Vauxhall's excellent Straight 6 Cresta engine and has only covered 46. 78 miles from new. which we believe to be correct. Made with genuine Vauxhall and Bentley parts. it was built to a very high standard and built to last. This car is 1 of 2 ever made.

Another turn in the story is that the current owner of the car is the well known singer/songwriter called Joan Armatrading MBE. She happened to see the car in a local car garage in 1976. Joan was quite fond of the car and decided to buy it. only using it on the odd weekend when she was not on her busy touring schedule. It was always garaged stored when it was not in use.

Interestingly the car has also had a TV appearance. used in one of Joan's music video's. shown on UK TV as well as VH1 and various other music channels. We have a “still” picture of the car in the video with Joan in the
drivers seat!! The car will come with written proof of ownership signed by Joan Armatrading. With Joan's repeated world touring schedule. the car has
not been used as much as she would of liked in the past and in recent years. It has always been kept in dry storage all of the time.

It has recently been re-commissioned with many new parts including New Battery. Spark plugs. HT Leads. Rotor arm etc. The car has been checked
over and will drive about happily. It is MOT exempt and Tax exempt which means it does not require an annual Mot nor do you have to pay a fee to tax the vehicle.

This is a very rare opportunity to own a piece of Motoring history and has been owned by a UK and world legend whose career stretches over 40 years and has released 19 studio albums as well as several live albums!! She has played along side such greats as Mark Knopfler. Bob Dylan. Eric Clapton and Elton John among many others!!

It's not perfect and there could be improvements made to its appearance and interior but we think it just adds to its appeal. It's original and full of character!! This is a true collectors car!!
