1937 Vauxhall 14/6 DX Tourer This car was imported from New Zealand in 2005 so the body work and chassis is in good condition. It runs. it has cable brakes which are ok. The interior is poor. Door cards are missing but door handles are there. the leather is a bit rough but saveable. I have the import papers and the NZ logbook but no english v5 . The paintwork as you can see in the photographs needs doing. The headlight bracket was broken off - These can be obtained from the VOC. Very sound pre war car for restoration. Well blow me down. I owned this car in NZ for 16 years and I have to say it looked a lot better. I wonder if it still has the same motor in it. Was a good engine bought off a saw bench plant to replace the 250,000 mile original unit. I have often wondered where it went to. All the stickers and the number plate add up to my car. Even the old AA tag on the key ring is still in the ignition!
