1973 Vauxhall VX490 Bare Shell Restoration Classic Car for sale

3 Owners from new The last owner had this vehicle for 15 years. 12 of which were spent on a total complete bare shell restoration. This included new panels where required and a professional respray including the underside of the vehicle. the engine bay and boot. He then set about the rebuild. stripping all major components including but not limited to. steering. brakes. suspension. engine. gearbox. overdrive and rear axle. This were all cleaned. painted and rebuilt with any new parts that were required before being fitted back on the car. As a result the car drives perfectly.
The excellent interior was fully removed. cleaned and refitted with meticulous attention to detail.
Upon completion. this totally restored vehicle won "Best Car of the Show" at the prestigious Tatton Park Classic Car Show in Cheshire.
