This is a barn find 1972 Renault R16 bought at an estate, judging by the state of the vehicle the 49,000 original miles seems correct. It does not appear to have ever been repainted and does not have any substantial dings among the body. It does have a couple of surface rust areas where paint has flaked away as seen in photos. The car does run, although needs carb work. It does not like to idle without the choke pulled out. It shifts smoothly and brakes very nice. The comfort of this vehicle is unlike any I've drove before.
