1986 American Chevrolet First Gen S10 Pickup Truck Chevy GMC S15 Custom Hotrod for sale

Up for sale is my
1986 First Generation Chevy S 10 2. 8 TBI V 6 Pickup
Imported to the UK in 1992 by its original hotelier owner in the States. and then sold onto a friend of mine in 2011 which he then owned for a couple of years until I bought it from him in April last year. So I am only its 3 rd ever owner.
Spec:
2. 8 ltr V 6 which is surprisingly economical and can (and has) been driven daily
Automatic with Column Shift
Red Interior in excellent condition. with bench seat (Seats 3)
Brand New Sliding Window (Just Imported from the USA)
Extang Bed Cover
Bed Hardliner
Top Tint windscreen
Steel rollpan made specifically for the UK plate size
16” IROC Z 28 Rims (also comes with the originals)
The previous owner still has a rear “topper” with windows for this and is available for FREE with the truck if wanted.
This truck drives really well and is 100% reliable. I have done a few long journeys in it without any issues whatsoever and have enjoyed owning & driving it in my time.

Currently SORN
It's not without its faults. so here is a small list of what could do with sorting out:
Sometimes it idles high. which is intermittent
The gauges do not work correctly. so the previous owner fitted some after market gauges. I believe the cluster fault is down to a bad printed circuit board (common fault apparently). these are available very cheaply
Wiper switch is faulty and only works on full speed
Could do with a handbrake cable as it's a bit stiff (probably due to the lack of use)
All the above is relatively minor and parts are easy & cheap to obtain. These jobs were all on my “to do” list. leading upto the summer months.
I have never come across or seen a first gen as nice as this in the UK so I think you will be hard pushed to find better! The truck only needs a small amount of "tinkering". and is ready to use. or take to shows in the summer.
There are a whole load of custom parts available for these first gens in the US. from lowering kits to V 8 conversions. so your only limitation is your imagination/wallet!
