Hi. ell due to the unfortunate closure of our birmingham workshop i have no choice but to sell my lovely mk 1 mini. have owned this car since the summer of 2004 and had every intention of giving the car a light restoration and keeping it for when my kids grow up but due to unforseen circumstances i now have nowhere to keep her and have to sell and let someone else enjoy it. The car has not been on the road since 2005 but has been regularly started and driven around our yard and is still starting and driving superbly. brought the car from a mini show at aston hall in birmingham and the previous owner had done many of the modifications and the 1340 cc stage 4 engine really flies. t has a single HIF 44 carb and a LCB Exhaust which sounds amazing. t has period 60 s bucket seats and original black rear seat which are all in good condition. have fitted whilst in my ownership a 100 mph cooper speedo. dummy filler neck and cap and a mk 1 cooper s grille. he car is sitting on 10" minilites shod with yokohama tyres. he car still retains its original mk 1 shell which is in superb condition for nearlly 50 years old however it will need some small work for the mot. The nearside outer sill needs replacing and the n/s floor to inner wheelarch has a very small hole. think thats it for the mot but if you want to get it mint it will need the usual a panel/wing replacement and there is a small hole about a 10 p size by the o/s rear lamp that will need rectifying but that said this little mini is now a super rare car and is in superb running order and will really only take little work to sort. very regrettable sale that cant be avoided. lease Call me only if you are serious and have the money to buy it as i know cars like this attract a lot of timewasters. orry to be rude but you know who you are and serious parties im sure will understand. econdly The car is located in central Birmingham at our workshop and not at our sales site near coleshill so please if your interested please CALL ONLY AND NOT EMAIL OR TEXT as i really struggle to find the time to reply to text or email.
