This is my 1976 BMW 2002 that I have owned for little over 6 years. Yes it is in the original color of Schwartz black. It has been painted over the years several times and last being eight years ago. The paint is still very presentable. No fading or peeling anywhere but not show quality either. Tan Recaro seats that are very comfortable and has been dyed to match the door panels etc. It has the weber 32/36 Tipo Made in Italy electric choke down draft carburetor Bilstein HD shock absorbers that are atleast 10 years old but work fine Tires are sitting on Solid style steel wheels that take the hubcaps. Rim size is 13 x 4.5 Tires have plenty of tread but they are 5 years old (Fine for driving around town)Brakes are all good and works fine. I have replaced the L+R door gaskets, new front and back Windshield gaskets, new carpeting and new dashcap to cover the dashcracks. The radio is a NOS radio but it is not hooked up.All the gauges work including the odometer. The wiper at slow speed is a little slow to move. All the electricals work, turn signals, brake lights, headlights etc. Even the blower motor fan come on fine, I dont see a single spot of rust anywhere as the previous paint jobs were done with rust repairs etc. before I owned it. I bought it this way as you see in very presentable shape. I get compliments no matter where I go. This is not a show car by any means but a very presentable driver that will bring you joy just to make a run to the store or to any local events.
