PLEASE CALL FOR APPOINTMENT.  THIS HISTORIC MITARY VEHICLE IS A TITLED IN ARIZONA AS A 1972 LAND ROVER SANTANA 2A-88 LIGHTWEIGHT CONVERTIBLE, IT IS POWERED BY A 2.0 LITER 4 CYLINDER GAS MOTOR PAIRED WITH AN OFF ROAD 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION WITH LOCKING DIFERENTIALS. THIS SANTANA WAS ACTIUALLY PARACHUTED OUT OF A MILITARY PLANE INTO THE SAHARA DESERT IN 1971 AND USED BY THE SPANISH MILITARY LEAD BY DICTATOR GENERAL FRANCO DURING HEAVY MILITARIZATION OF THE REGION IN ORDER TO KEEP SPANISH CONTROL UNTIL THE DICTATORS DEATH IN 1975, FROM THERE IT WAS TRANSFERED TO THE GUZMAN EL BUENO MILITARY BASE AT CORDOBA IN SOUTH SPAIN.  IN 1995 IT WAS PURCHASED BY A COLECTOR HERE IN ARIZONA.  THIS UNIQUE LAND ROVER IS BEING OFFERED FOR A SHORT TIME AND WILL ULTIMATELY BE OFFERED AT COLLECTER CAR AUCTIONS.  THIS VEHICLE STARTS WITH ONE CRANCK, RUNS AND DRIVES NORMALLY BUT IT DOES NEED SOME LIGHT MECHANICAL ATTENTION (MOSTLY MAINTENENCE), THE TIRES ARE ALL NEW AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
