Here we have my Land Rover series 3 ex MOD up for grabs. Believed to be 1983-84 ish but the v 5 states 1994 (if i remember correctly. it was definitely the early 90's) as that was when the MOD released it to be put on the road).
I bought this when I was getting goats for a small holding and wanted something practical and not so scared to pop goats in the back. this did the trick. Now I have the herd established the landrover has just been sitting there for the past few months. started occasionally and it runs well.
It would be a shame for it just to sit there. so for the right price I am prepared to let it go. otherwise I will hold onto it till the value rises further.
It is a reliable vehicle and I would keep it. however it is not so practical for my needs now and thus it would be best if it was sold on to someone who would use it more. or restore it perhaps.
As you can see from the photos it is in pretty good condition underneath also for its age.
The main issue I can really think of is the gear linkages for the 4 x 4 low high modes need some adjusting. With a little fiddling it will slip into all of these and drive in all. but could do with some attention.
