I have for sale my Peugeot 205 XS Sprint Race Rally Car, owned by myself since 2009 and kept roadworthy for the majority of the the last 12 years. It runs and pulls well, and is a fun car to compete with. It has been used a handful of times a year either on a sprints, test days, or summer days. A total of 4,200 miles in the last 12 years. The car was converted from a standard road car, to a clubman rally car, and then into a sprint race car.It has an MSA logbook from 2013 as a rally car, which means it has cage, harnesses, seats, extinguishers, lines inside, Perspex windows, etc. If you're just getting started in sprinting it would make a great introductory car, or if you want more power it could be great to tinker with and add throttle bodies, etc. There aren't many XS' left in the UK now, especially ones that look and drive like this! It's been much loved for the last 12 years and it's sad to see it go, but I have my eye on other things and limited storage space. Please see spec below and pics for more details, I'm sure I've missed a few things so please ask any questions. Please note - I'm not breaking for parts, sale is for complete car.MOT expires end of Sept 2021, and is currently SORN.The drivers seat is bolted in, and is in position for a short driver 5ft 4!Seats & Belts are out of date. It's a 30 year old race car, not in concours condition. Bank transfer preferred.Located in Walsall.Buyer to collect.I will not ship aboard.Sold as seen - no returns. Spec - Engine -The original XS engine was replaced in 2011 with an S1 106 Rallye TU3J2, work completed by Spoox Motorsport. The engine runs perfectly, starts on the first turn and pulls very well. Engine has done just under 4,000 miles since it's conversion.Gearbox - This is still the original gearbox from when I purchased the car, believed to be a standard XS box. It was rebuilt in 2016 by Spoox. 3rd is a little sticky until warmed up, which is usually within a few mins, all other gears are fine. Still on original 205 gear linkage.Suspension - setup is stiff and low, made for sprints and hill climbs. Again all work below completed by Spoox.Front:Uprated to 205 GTi components, wishbones, trackrod ends, etc. 22mm Spoox antiroll bar.Eibach race springs.Rear:Group A rear damperSpoox 25.4mm antiroll barBrakes -Disc brakes all round, I believe these are 1.9 205 GTi which stop it well.Upright handbrake, on a willwood cylinder.Bodywork -Spoox carbon fibre bonnet.Rallye fibreglass wide arch kit.Non-sunroof shell. The car has been dry stored for the last 5 years, and prior to that was undercover outside, however the bodywork could do with some love. As it's a red Peugeot it has faded and become patchy in places. It has passed MOTs for the last few years with no rust advisories, however please let me know if there is a certain area you'd like to check and I'll take pics for you.Wheels -Comes with a freshly painted set of white speedlines with Toyo proxies that have done 226 miles. Also comes with a set of black speedlines with a Toyo R888s which have been used on 3 sprints, and kept undercover in the garage. Exhaust - all original XS
