1959 MGA Coupe conversion - Le Mans style screen for sale

originally a coupe
the car was converted to a roadster during the 1980 s.
Car is fitted with steel front wings. fibre-glass rear wings and is painted in Glacier Blue.
Seats have been re-trimmed in dark blue leather. car also sports a wood-rim steering wheel and a very stylish Le Mans style windscreen with replica works style pillars.
The screen does offer quite good wind protection. though I do have the original roadster frame should winning bidder want to put it back to more standard specification (it would need the glass screen itself which are about £100 new). The frame is included in the auction.
Mechanically it is standard 1500 cc engine. drum brakes all round and original gearbox. Consistent with many MGAs the second gear synchro is weak. otherwise the car drives nicely. It is fitted with a stainless exhaust system.
Given the age of the car I would highly recommend viewing to acquaint yourself with the condition of the car. Please ask any questions you have prior to bidding - I can be contacted via e Bay or on my mobile 07789 570886. Car is situated just outside Newbury - J 13 of the M 4.
The car is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to withdraw it from the auction if sold.
