AUSTIN Seven Very Rare 1938 AAL Model Open Road Tourer,  affectionately known as Geno

First registered on 29th July 1938 and according to Girling Brake Records there are  only 18 surviving AAL 4-seater Models  left in existence.

 

The 1938  AAL Model had many improved mechanical features over previous models some of which included a 3 bearing crank engine, 4 speed gearbox and Girling Brakes all round.

 

As expected, Gino comes with  history file  which Includes a record of all old MOT's, and Owner's Manual plus the all-important original Buff Logbook.

Fully documented photographic record of restoration, which took place in the early 1990's  and has received much loving care ever since, now showing a beautiful Patina. Rewired and upgraded to 12v electrics, Electric starter although the hand crank is still available in case of n emergencies. Winking indicators plus original side indicators retained. The re-Trimmed interior is pristine and shows the great attention to detail which include side pockets in the doors all 100% correct. 

Side screens and  hood are all unmarked and in great condition.

New Longstone tyres and tubes, brake linings, points and condenser recently fitted.

Gino last completed the  London to Brighton run in 2005  and due to continued maintenance  is still more than Capable of completing  this prestigious event again.

Now in its 83rd year Gino is MOT and Tax Excempt. with all the hard work done needs for nothing plus running costs wll be  vertually nothing                                 

for a good few year to come.

 

Gino currently lives  in  Guildford Surrey and  viewings are welcome.
