Bought by a Welshman, a Professor at Manchester University who lived in Wilmslow Cheshire, delivered in component form which he completed.I bought this car from him on the 5-7-1980, daily commute from Sale to Macclesfield for a few year, and very often to London, until my sojourn to Australia.Offered to The Swansea Maritime and Industrial Museum for Display, which they gladly accepted. Drove it down to the Museum on the 30-06-1983.There it remained ( acceptance number MI 712 is etched on the front drivers wing ) on display until October 2006.Restoration commenced at the Chris Smith Gilbern Garage in October 2008, with letters, photographs, work sheets, renewed parts listed and detailed discription of work done on the chassis , suspension , axle and so forth. Large history file, that includes original Handbook, all wirering diagrams and much more. Will not dissapoint next owner wanting an Estate for easy completion of restoration, chassis , interior, body, glass and paint are all in superb condition, you just need to rebuild the engine and the other bits, along with a rewire. Please feel free to phone on 07707-203567. sat nav OL 8 4 AP.
