Gilbern Invader Mark 2 for sale

A 1971 Gilbern Invader Mark 2 which is well known to the Owners Club.
In my ownership for the last 8 years.
During this time it has won the Gilbern Owners Club Concours Touring Cup 4 times. it has been commended in the Concours for Mark 2 and Estates and the following year won the Concours Cup for the best Mark 2.
This however is not a genuine concours condition car but a very useable classic car and for the first 5 years of my ownership was used as my daily transport.
The reason for not using as much during the last 3 years is that I am now mostly living in Holland
In my ownership the chassis has been completely rebuild by a Gilbern Specialist and there is a photographic record.
An uprated 3. 1 litre V 6 engine has been fitted with unleaded heads. (Engine supplied by Specialised Engines.

The engine is their 06 Stage 4 Fast Road engine).
The brakes have been uprated to 4 pot calipers at the front. and the front and rear suspension replaced with new shock absorbers and springs and poly bushes fitted.
The brake servo. clutch. alternator. distributor and battery have also been replaced.
The wiper motor and wiper boxes have also been replaced.
The car is finished in red with a black vinyl roof and full black leather interior with walnut dashboard and chrome instruments.
There is a cream wool headlining
Faults.
There is some minor crazing and cracking of the paint around the boot hinges and windscreen.
These are easily rectified and I have the matching paint from the respray.
Rear tyres will need replacing in the not too distant future.
Clock and vacuum guage does not work and temperature guage reads low.
Heater is not efficient.
There are a few cracks to the veneer in the dashboard.
Period radio gives very poor reception.
I should prefer you to view the car before you bid.
