My T25 / T3 Whitestar Hanover Edition is for sale.

Ok. where to start? I suppose if you are looking at this ad. you may already know the full story behind these Hanover Edition Vans. and already know how rare they are in this condition. But for the benefit of those who don't.

The Hanover edition T25s were the last vans off the Hanover production line and the last of the "real" rear wheel drive VW`s. They were built with a spec list to include; plush deep velour upholstery. tinted windows. lowered suspension. carat alloy wheels. colour coded body kit. electric mirrors. tow bar. rear wash wipe. central locking and an aerial within the front screen.

 The Hanover Editions interior were all built by Westfalia with the Multivan layout; which consists of seven seats. including captains armrests in front and two removable buddy seats in the rear. with the rear bench seat folding to make a massive full width bed. There are seven seatbelts. four are three point belts. nbsp;and three are lap belts.  There is a side hinged table. lighting. and the Multivan only wool curtains which pop on inside the vehicle. This set up is truly versatile. and suited to everything from day to day running around to full on weekend camp outs. load lugging. nbsp;or days out with the family.

In addition to the factory spec. this van has been fitted with a propex gas powered overnight heater. and a split charging system which has a large leisure battery to run the stereo. interior lights and a couple of 12volt power sockets.

This particular Whitestar has recently been restored. having had all new wheel arches. sills. cab steps. body kit and a full exterior re paint; all carried out professionally. It looks fantastic! It also has four new tyres. a new exhaust. new battery and has just had a full service including the all important cambelt.

Does it get any better?

Well. the van has MOT until June 2014 and tax until the end of December. there is plenty of recent history including a bill for a new engine and turbo six years ago. all old MOT`s. nbsp;two keys. HPI cert. nbsp;and the only bad points are that the central locking is a bit temperamental on the drivers door. the electric mirrors seem to have packed up working this week. and the 1. 6 turbo diesel engine smokes a little under full load. but as far as I am aware they all do!

I will endeavour to book the van in with my local VW specialist this week to fix the couple of niggles. or you can use them as a bartering tool should you wish to fix them yourself and have a bit of a tinker. hence lowering the asking price.

We have used the van all summer and had a great time. but now it is time to pass it on as unfortunately I now need a car for the daily commute.  I will be sorry to see it go. as these vans are a genuine investment being the last of the proper VW vans. and a genuine modern classic which can only appreciate in value.  It gets appreciative comments and looks everywhere it goes!

The price is a little negotiable but please don't make silly offers. this van has had a lot of time and money invested in it. and I don't need to sell it quickly. I am not interested in any part exchange at this point.
