About this vehicle This 1973 Triumph TR 6 is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller's Notes I had it painted bright Ford white and changed out a lot of parts, which makes it a nice weeekend cruiser. Listed are the new parts in the last ten years: Both driver and passenger seat diaphragms Springs all around Front shocks Front top ball joints Front trunnions Front wheel bearings Front rubber brake hoses Tie rod ends Top and bottom A frame bushings Engine mounts Alloy steering rack mounts Slotted and drilled rotors Master cylinder Water pump, thermostat, timing chain and tensioner Aluminum valve cover Weber DCHH 45 carburetors (they need tuned almost everyday depending on the weather) Fuel pump Slave cylinder Drive shaft and half shaft universal joints Rear differential mounts Speedometer rebuilt—mileage not accurate Pirelli P 4 tires w/ approx 10,000 miles Vehicle Details
1973 Triumph TR 6
Four speed convertible that runs great. The radio and windshield wipers do not work. The parts are there for both. I don't drive it in the rain so I have never tinkered with the wipers. The wiper motor is new and I have a new wiper switch that needs to be installed. The radio worked up until a couple months ago. The radio fuse is fine so the radio will neeed to be changed (old after market radio anyway)
I have owned this car ten years and drove it to Indiana from Florida. I don't know a lot about the engine, but it starts every time. It uses a little oil, but not a lot, which should be expected for a 48 year old vehicle. I'm selling this car to find my next project. I have spare parts that go with the car. Exterior
