What you are bidding must be the coolest car that Skoda built.   It has all its original period features such as transparent glass. Jokes aside this is a very rare and desirable piece of history and probably the most stylish and modern Eastern Block car of its era.    

Becoming increasingly sought after all over Europe and rising in value this car is rare to find in this condition and is a very worthwhile  project.

 I will try to describe this car accurately but opinions and expectations can vary.

GOOD STUFF:     Very original and  genuine time warp car.   Stored in a dry barn in Wiltshire I first tried to buy this car over 20 years ago and it is only now available due to storage loss. Reputedly brought here for a Bond film but never used on set.  The  engine starts no problem and is really sweet running and the car engages gear and moves to and fro easily.  The bodywork is solid and pretty much everything is there to make it a very straightforward and rewarding project 

BAD STUFF:  The car has been unused for  several years and it will need restoration and re-commissioning.    It will need a new battery and the brakes and all hoses checking.  A set of tires would be advisable and the car needs a carpet set. I have run it on a temporary tank as the original may have stale fuel.   The bumpers will need chroming. The car was originally a lovely period turquoise greenie blue colour but was given a quick blow over in horrid dull red for its proposed movie role and needs a total re spray back to original and it will need some body repairs but it is not a rot box.

The paperwork and reg number have got lost in the mists of time and it is not on the Swansea computer.   The new owner will need to apply for a V5c log book and a age related number plate. y getting a dating certificate from the Skoda club or factory but the chassis plate is all present and correct and I will give a bill of sale.
