1989 Skoda Estelle in VIC for sale

A personal import. this 1989 Estelle 120 L is a rare 5 speed which had been badged in some countries as a 125 L. It is the only 5 speed Estelle known in Australia and comes included with many new-old spare parts including a complete engine and full set of engine gaskets. lights. and some panels. Produced in Aug 1989 was one of the last rear engine vehicles in this configuration before production ceased in Jan 1990.

Skoda did not import vehicles into Australia between 1987 to 2007 due to a Government ban on communist produced vehicles. and while numerous of these cars were produced in Czechoslovakia. and supplied to the Communist Bloc. some right hand versions made it to Australia in the earlier 4 speed version prior to 1987.

The Skoda 105/120 L had much success in the Lombard around UK rally. winning its class 14 consecutive years during the late 70's & 80's.

With its unique left hand opening bonnet. front storage. and rear engine. the Skoda always draws attention at car shows.

It is in excellent condition with the interior looking like new. It had been stored for 10 years before the current owner purchased it.

A total of approximately 6 Skoda 105/120 L are known to exist in Australia. This is believed to be the only 5 speed 120/125 L model in Australia.

This car comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Skoda factory in Mlada Boleslav. Czech Republic. Original import documentation and two manuals on English. including workshop manual included.
