You are biding on a 1932 Auburn 8-100A Boattail Speedster. This car was disigned by Russian Count Alexis de Sakhnoffsky. The classic era stylist. who was noted for his flamboyant application of color and line. The 1932 Auburn Boattail Speedster was a work of art. inspired by Auburns success on racing circuits. The car's speed. luxury and price sealed the deal for many buyers. Speedsters were produced in Auburn. IN from 1928 to 1936 except for 1934. The Auburn Boattail Speedster is agreeably the most popular. ACD Club records indicate only 32 Speedsters are known. Special futures include Art Deco mirrors. 2 speed rear-end. golf club compartment and artistic styling. The speedster sported a split windshield. wich was racked at a 45 degree angle. small slanted doors and six wire wheels with knock off hubs. As a custom deluxe model this car sports steel covers for the side mount tires. The car also has side mount tire mirrors. black interior and black carpet and chrome wire wheels. It is a dark burgundy color with pearl gray (silver) trim with red pin striping. Lookheed hydraulic 4 wheel breaks. a Lycoming straight 8 295. 5 cubic inch L-head engine; this engine was designed to power 115 hp. Golf Bag Door. 2 speed axel. Has original 6 volt system. with service manual and original lug wrench. convertible top in perfect condition with top cover to be used while in storage. Fenders. hood. bumpers. lights. frame. motor. transmission. 2 speed rear. running boards are all auburn original. From the firewall back is a Glenn Pray fiberglass body and done to a very high standard. This is not a kit car. has original Auburn title.  This car had a complete recent restoration. runs and drives great.
