1955 RHD original home market Triumph TR 2 For sale is our restoration project car. Bought by us about 6 years ago but due to too many other projects it is now up for sale. The car is an original uk car, it's 95% complete. It comes with various panels including a new nose cone (costing £800) and many other panels collected over the past few years to replace the fibre glass ones currently on the car. The fibre glass panels on the car are in good condition and could be used or sold as they are popular for racing cars.There is a heritage certificate with the car stating it is Pearl white with red interior. The log book will need to be applied for as it was lost at some point, this will need to be done when the car is completed.The engine and running gear is all complete. Engine turns but obviously we haven't had it running.Interior is all mainly complete but needs restoring, all dials are there apart from the incorrect temperature gauge but these are available.Comes with original steel wheels and triumph globe hub caps.Bumpers and irons are all there as are most of the tricky to find parts.Chassis condition is not too bad for the age of the car.Body work needs the usual triumph repairs.Windscreen parts are all with the car (these are expensive). Side screens are in the boot. Comes with boxes of other miscellaneous parts.We have just finished a TR 2 in worse condition than this and they are a lovely car when done.We also are selling a TR 4 A and possibly a TR 5 that need restoring that are in a lot better condition, please enquire about these if interested.Please message or call for any further information.Viewing is advised and welcome.
