BRIEF HISTORY REGARDING THE TR 6 The Triumph TR 6 (1968–76) is a sports car built by British Triumph Motor Company between 1969 and 1976. ... Of the 91,850 TR 6 s produced, 83,480 were exported only 8,370 were sold in the UK. The frame, engine, running gear, body tub and doors were similar to the Michelotti-styled TR 5 (TR 250 in the US).Engine: 2.5-litre straight-6 Transmission: 4-speed manual all synchromesh with optional overdrive Length: 3,950 mm (155.5 in) ABOUT THE CAR CP 53827, RARE 150 Bhp with Overdrive on 2 nd / 3 rd and 4 th gear. Triumph TR 6 C.P. Series, 2.5 litre, 150 bhp, June 1971, Only 7000 miles done in last 15 years. Gearbox and clutch fitted by previous owner and seats re-trimmed. Leather and hood is in good condition no rips. Engine runs well,
Stage 2 fast road head fitted with high lift cam purchased in late 80's from Cox and Buckles and fitted by Enginuity TR specialist.
High pressure rocker oil feed, Mocal Thermostatic oil cooler with spin-on oil filer conversion and braided hoses.

Tax and MOT exempt, Mechanically car excellent and chassis has never been welded, body work is in good condition too, no rust. Car doesn't need any welding.Paint work is in good condition doesn't mean concours or show car.
