1923 Franklin Series 10 B

Excellent Condition

This 1923 Series 10 B was a barn find in the late 90's. Meticulously restored over a period of several years by the current owner. this car was his pride and joy. For the last ten years he showed the car. drove the car. and did numerous vintage rallies. He brought this fine automobile to us in an effort to find it a proper home as he is getting up there in the years.

Over the past decade the entire car was restored and rebuilt. including the engine. with new bearings. pistons. valves and other bits. There were upgrades made to make the vehicle easier to use. such as a more modern carburetor. The original parts are included with the sale. The frame and undercarriage are in excellent condition. as is the exquisitely formed aluminum body. The car runs and drives very well and is ready to show or be driven.

We have extensive documentation of the cars restoration and ownership over the past decade.

It was a true labor of love!

As I did the photo and video work on this car I was completely smitten with the elegant design and innovative technology used. The workmanship is astoundingly good and the car is very advanced for a vehicle of this era. The more I looked at it the more it became apparent that these cars were put together with pride. by excellent craftsmen. The restoration work was also done with a great amount of time. effort and craftsmanship. Overall this is one of the nicest vintage automobiles I have seen. with no major flaws or mechanical issues apparent. I think one would be hard pressed to find a nicer example of a Series 10 B.
