Wheel arches. sills and under the bonnet remain factory fresh with manufacturer stickers still on all the components. All the tinted glass is number plate etched and a minor touch-in on the boot edge is barely visible. Supplying Dealer number plates are still fitted front and rear. INTERIOR
The interior of this outstanding luxury Mini Mayfair is in fabulous factory original condition finished in Raschelle fabric on the seats. door trims and side casings. The deep cut pile carpets have absolutely no wear and the headlining is spotlessly clean. The colour coded three spoke steering wheel with the ‘Austin' badge proudly on display and the moulded handbrake grip is perfect. The LW/MW AN232 stereo with tone control operates correctly along with all the other instruments. switches and gauges. The boot area has a few minor paint chips and all the tools are unused in the plastic roll case. A fabulous charming and quality environment to be sat in exactly how the manufacturer intended.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This car is in excellent mechanical order having covered such few miles. The engine is the 4-cylinder transverse OHV 998cc ‘A Plus' unit which pulls strongly and is whisper quiet. With 40bhp. progress is nippy and running costs minuscule. thanks to excellent parts availability and 60. 5mpg at 56mph. The 4-speed all synchromesh gearbox with a diaphragm spring clutch is precise and changes gear effortlessly. WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The correct Mayfair wheel trims remain scuff and damage free all shod in factory correct Pirelli 145/70 SR12 tyres including the boot mounted spare. The servo assisted dual line hydraulic brakes pull the car up quickly. Very responsive handling and manoeuvrability.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new by Frogmore Garage & Coachworks on the 12th December 1985 to Mrs Gladys Lock for a total price of £3. 00 as revealed on the original purchase invoice. Remaining in her care until July 2009 when her husband. Mr Dennis Lock took ownership. Incredibly the supplying dealer maintained the car with every annual MOT certificate from 1988.
