You don't see many of these cars thats for sure. Park this one at the car show and watch the people flock.  Video can be viewed at  https://youtu. be/3vXvrNUCBsA
This is an air cooled motor car built to compete with the upper class cars of the 20's. It was promoted as the "Mile A Minute Car" as it was advertised as a 60 mph car with reliability as it's staple. This specific car still has the museum wax caked on the hinges and corners and I couldn't even bring myself to wash the car yet which you can note with all the dust on her. While the nickel plating looks good I am sure it would polish up to a blinding finish even. The car is not a number one rating for sure but she is a great looking presentable car. There is a small chip in the paint just in front of the windshield and there is also a little bit of paint flaked off under the rear drivers side door. imperfections. Please note those in the pictures. I spent what little time I had to make some improvements after being no more than a display for a number of years. This car actually had power brakes so all the wheel cylinders have been redone as well as the brake lines.  The brake is soft however so it may need better bleeding but its a fresh system with new parts. The fuel tank removed and cleaned and sealed by a professional shop as recommended after storage by many vintage car owners. all the fuel system has been done. Oil changed.
The car starts and drives but could use a few hours with someone well familiar to the automobiles of this era to make sure all points are just right and safe for the road and tighten up those brakes a bit. etc.  I was able to locate the original owner and restorer of the car before it went to the museum and he informed me he enjoyed driving it each Sunday to church and the parades and he spent several years on the restoration. All the original restoration photographs will be included with the car. It seems to be running a little rich but it may be just right for a car from the 20's. I am in my learning stage right now and while I have had a great time playing with it I don't know as much as I would like. I had hoped to really enjoy the car but my time has been short this past year. I did take a few days to enjoy the annual Franklin gathering in New York and found that to be the most fun I have had in years. The Franklin owners are a fantastic group of people and they have gathered for years and years. I will continue to gather with them and hope to find a convertible Franklin in time. Forever a devoted Franklin man for sure.  Before making this decision to sell I was working on making sure the car would be reliable for this years Franklin gathering so that I could enjoy the New York road trips with other owners and I feel like she is about there.
The factory service manual and parts manual will be included with the car as well. As with any vintage car this is being sold as is and the warranty ran out just last week
