S 4

Drop Head C oupe.

Very presentable "driver" with a new repaint (it's not perfect. but very nice from 5 feet away).

Original 62 K “one owner” miles.

I bought this last winter from the original owner of 42 years.

It is a matching numbers car with no known major engine rebuild history and no known accident history either.

Its original color was French Blue from the factory and previous owner had it painted Lotus Yellow in the 1980's.

All chrome. emblems. and bright work are newly polished up.

Beautiful spinner hubs and stainless trim rings on all newly painted wheels.

Mechanically. I installed new roto-flex couplings (all four).

I rebuilt the front and rear brake

calipers

and installed all new brake pads.

Parking brake holds well.

Motor does drip/spot oil a bit.

Chassis is in original driving condition with all bushings original and newer tie rod ends.

New stainless steel exhaust installed and sounds great! Clutch good. shifts fine all gears. back up lights work.

Drive it anywhere.

Interior seats are very nice. but not perfect.

I installed a brand new quality interior carpet set. door seal surround molding. and rubber pedal pads.

It's equipped with the Colin Chapman signature steering wheel. custom wood shift knob. and new center console arm rest pad.

I applied a vinyl wood grain veneer over the old dash to dress it up.

Door panels good and interior presents itself in very good condition.

All glass is good. but convertible top rear window is yellowed.

The top is older. dry and difficult to stretch fit.

A perfect quality original tonneau cover is included.

The heater unit is not installed but comes with the car.

Some things aren't working such as horn. power windows. gas gauge. tach. volt meter (but it does charge well).

All other electrics DO work (headlights. instrument lights. hazards. parking. turn signals. high beams. wipers. oil pressure gauge. water temp gauge. etc. )

Headlights make their way to the up position since the vacuum pod is not working.

Spare tire in trunk with jack and a complete original factory tool set in pouch.

Lotus factory shop manual is also included.

Car is registered. insured and being driven.
