I am selling my BMW Isetta 300. Built at an old locomotive factory in Brighton under licence from BMW. it was first registered in 1957. It is an early example and so has four wheels rather than the usual three (the back two wheels are very close together). It is right hand drive and has the original engine that it was built with. It is now MOT-exempt and there is no charge to tax it. It has no seat belts. as is the norm for these cars. It was lovingly restored a number of years ago (not by me but I have copious paperwork and photos) and has since been very well looked after. I keep it in a garage and the paintwork is in excellent condition. I recently spent over a £1. 00 to have the engine taken out and stripped down and it now goes very well. I didn't have it out last year as the weather was so poor. but I've just charged the battery and turned it over first time and the engine feels really good. This is not a concourse example. but it's in really good condition and would make a lovely hobby car for someone to own who has more time than me to enjoy it. I am available for viewing mostly evenings and weekends on the south side of Cambridge between the station and Addenbrookes Hospital.

Comes free with various books (including a new copy of BMW's original engineer's handbook) and a car capsule specially made for the size of an Isetta.

I have set as the reserve price the amount I paid for it when I bought it on ebay a few years ago.
