1956 VW Volkswagen Beetle Oval Window LHD Coral red superb survivor unmolested for sale

1956 US import Coral Red Oval VW Beetle .
An extremely o riginal and unmolested rust free survivor with just one small repair on the near side inner arch and a replacement decklid. Has been repainted in red at some point in the last but some light sanding has brought out the original coral red underneath. The wheels have been powdercoated in the factory coral red and shod with new tyres (missing one hub cap). Dash is unmolested as is the interior and the original seats and headlining show years of patina. The original engine still runs like a dream and is still running 6 v electrics. I have used this as a semi daily on nice days throughout the year and wouldn't hesitate giving it a good drive anywhere!This Oval was privately imported to the UK approx 4 years ago and upon arrival, it was sent to Bobby (Milk&Two/Hayburner) for a full service, recommission and where the rear deck lid was changed to a correct one for the year as a later one had been fitted at some point in its past.Inside the door shuts, there are a number of old VW service stickers from the 60's 80's still intact. As testament to the originality of this unrestored and much loved survivor. All heater channels, front beam and floorpans are in superb condition. For genuine buyers, please get in touch as I can send over a lot of photos underneath the vehicle just to show how solid and unmolested this beetle is. My plan was to fully restore to original coral red but it's too nice to restore and I need a Karmann Ghia or a '67 Bug in my life again...other parts ex's considered but strictly NO projects! I already have a notch and an early bay so none of these!!! Will part ex with cash either way but strictly no projects.
