This is my Auction for a classic, rare and genuine Type 19 3 door 8 valve K-Jet Mk 2 Golf GTI in stunning Diamond Silver.The car is in very good condition having been restored including full respray by the previous owner back in September 2017. The car also had the engine rebuilt back in 2017 182 k miles including a road/race cam and it really does go very well and pulls strong through the rev range. The car drives spot on and like a GTI should with everything working as it should.
The car is mostly standard but does have adjustable coilovers all round and the exhaust sounds a bit sportier than standard but does look standard. There are a few marks here and there which I've tried to capture on the pics so don't expect a show car. If I was keeping it, I would probably get the sunroof resprayed as there are microbubbles in the paint. Also the headlining is not the best and is sagging at the rear (see pics and video). Other marks are on the rear hatch by the window and bottom of the passenger door.Just want to be as honest as possible but hopefully you can see from the pics it is a stunning looking car.
